Era E. Halbert

  Mrs. Era E. Halbert, 77, of Milam, died Wednesday, May 24, in
Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.

  The funeral was at 10 a.m., Friday, in the Starr Funeral Home
Chapel, with the Rev. W. T. Love officiating. Burial was in
Halbert Cemetery in Milam.

  Survivors include her husband, Ralph P. Halbert of Milam; one
daughter, Mrs. Ethlyn West of Milam; two sisters, Mrs. Marcell
Hamilton of Milam, and Mrs. Odie Horn of Fort Worth; five
brothers, C. C. Elliott of Jacksonville, Von Elliott of Hemphill,
Ellis Elliott of Yellowpine, Joel Elliott of Zwolle, and Leo
Elliott of Pineland.
