Mrs. Helen C. Halbrook

  Mrs. Helen C. Halbrook, 70, died Monday, August 22, at Baton
Rouge General Hospital, after a long illness.

  Services were Tuesday, at 2 p.m., at Welsh Funeral Home in Baton
Rouge.

  Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, at
Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Local arrangements were under
the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road in
Monroe.

  Survivors include her husband, Louis M. Halbrook of Baton Rouge;
a daughter, Mrs. Alice Middleton of Monroe; two sons, Arthur N.
Halbrook, and Wesley Lee Halbrook, both of Monroe; her
stepmother, Mrs. Gladys West of Monroe; a brother, Raymond T.
West of Many; and two grandchildren.
