All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** The Sabine Index - Mrs. Jack Hollis 15 Apr 1955 - Mrs. Jack Hollis, 35-year-old mother of six small children, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, April 7. She was preparing lunch when she was stricken at 1:30. A second attack at a Leesville hospital proved fatal. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, at the Prospect church of Florien with the Rev. Chance officiating. Burial under the direction of Hixon Funeral home followed in Prospect cemetery. The body remained at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Lee of Florien, until time for the services. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jackie Lee, Robert Dan and Willie Hollis; three daughters, Francis Ann, Linda Faye and Bonnie Joyce Hollis, all of Leesville; five brothers, Hoy Lee of Many, Rayden Lee of Mansfield, Claude Lee of Lake Charles AFB, Walter C. Lee of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and Lynn Lee of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Lee of Shreveport and Mrs. Helen Gray of Alexandria, Va.
