All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Mrs. Helen Eleanor Holes Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Eleanor Holes, 65, of Sugarland, Texas, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 1997, at Les Fontaine Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Daniel Lowe officiated. Mrs. Holes died Saturday, March 29, at North Toledo Bend State Park in Zwolle. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on July 18, 1931, to Carl and Myrtle Clark Schulte. Helen touched the lives of many, and never met a stranger. She gave unconditional, unselfish love to all. She is preceded in death by a son, Ronald Gessner; and her father, Carl Schulte. Mrs. Holes is survived by her husband, Howard Gene Holes of Sugarland, Texas; four sons, Robert Joseph Gessner of Youngstown, Ohio, Donald Holes of Tenn. Colony, Texas, Samuel Holes, and George Holes, both of Washington State; five daughters, Carol Percival of California, Melinda Allen of Sugarland, Texas, Melissa Bolin, and Colleen Chapman of Houston, Texas, and Melanie Schriefer of Tiyan, Guam; mother, Myrtle Schulte of Youngstown, Ohio; one sister, Elizabeth Novasil; and four brothers, John Schulte, and Robert Schulte of Hubbard, Ohio, Mike Schulte of Canfield, Ohio, and Daniel Schulte of Youngstown, Ohio. Survivors also include 25 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
