Richard Holt 
  
  Richard C. Holt, 58, died at 7:55 a.m., Monday, at the Veterans 
Administration Hospital, after a short illness. 
  
  He was a painting contractor, had lived in Shreveport 31 years, 
and was born at Florien. He was a veteran of World Warr II. 
  
  Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Jean Buzzanca of 
Shreveport; two brothers, L. D. Holt of Shreveport, and Bill L. 
Holt of Hornbeck; six sisters, Myrtie Allen of Anacoco, Mrs. 
Luther Hunt of Rosepine, Ruby Hillman of Alexandria, Mrs. Kenneth 
Taylor of Austin, Tex., and Mrs. Lum Sterling, and Mrs. Claude 
Strickland, both of Hornbeck; and four grandchildren. 
  
  Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in 
Wellman's Funeral Home by the Rev. Frank Andrews, pastor of the 
Lynwood Assemblyy of God Church. Burial was at Forest Park 
Cemetery.
