All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Lenard Holt Sr. Funeral services for Lenard (Dick) Holt Sr., 55, of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, in Wellman's Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport, with the Rev. Walter Beard officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Pisgah Cemetery at Anacoco. A native of Toro, Mr. Holt had been a resident of Shreveport for 15 years, and a retired U. S. Navy gunners mate. He was a World War II veteran, and a Baptist. Mr. Holt died Saturday, Dec. 29, in Veterans Administration Hospital, after a short illness. Survivors include his widow, Mary Frances Eubanks; one son, Lenard D. Holt Jr. of Shreveport; three daughters, Sandra J. Addison of Shreveport, Nancy H. Egan of San Francisco, Calif., and Helen H. Birnie of Bossier City; one brother, Bill Holt of Anacoco; six sisters, Mrs. Walter Allen of Anacoco, Mrs. Lum Sterling of Hornbeck, Mrs. Luther Hunt of DeRidder, Mrs. Frank Hillman of Alexandria, Mrs. Kenneth Taylor of Anacoco, and Mrs. Claude Strickland of Anacoco. Pallbearers were Pat Green, John L. Harton, Sidney Walton, Ronnie Logan, Steve Knotts, J. C. Wallace, Dominic Lombardi, and Leo Williford.
