She was a member of Zwolle First Baptist Church. She was a retired school cafeteria worker, and a loving mother and grandmother. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., July 29, at Zwolle First Baptist Church, with interment following at Zwolle Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Penfield officiated. Survivors include two daughters, Mattie Maxey and husband Bobby of Zwolle, and Carolyn Martin and husband Tommy of Anacoco; three granddaughters, Kimberly Simmons and husband Michael of Gulfport, Miss., Tiffany Maxey, and Amanda Maxey, both of Zwolle; one grandson, Logan Maxey; two precious great grandchildren, Elizabeth, and Dawson Martin of Shreveport; three brothers, Victor, and Howard Brandon of Zwolle, and Jack Brandon of Shreveport; one sister, Heloise Nabours of Many; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Holt; a very special grandson, James Thomas Martin II; brothers Elmo, Harvey, Morris, Quinton, George, and Bob Brandon; and sisters, Della Blankenship, and Eula Nabours. Pallbearers were Dr. Doug Brandon, Josh Brandon, Nathan "Buddy" Brandon, Wane Brandon, Calvin Jones, and Alvin Brandon. Honorary pallbearers were Stanley Brandon, and Michael Simmons.
