Holt, age 72, who died Sept. 6, was conducted at Wellman's Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain of the Veterans Administration Hospital officiating. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park, with Masonic Graveside services. A native of Rapides Parish, Mr. Holt was a representative of the Masonic Service Association, and was active in a visitation program in the Shreveport Hospital for a number of years. He was a member and Tiler of the Caddo Lodge No. 179 F and A.M., the Shreveport No. 115, and Temple Lodge No. 448 F and A.M., also a member of the El Karubah Temple. Survivors are his widow; five daughters, Mrs. John Hittell of Detroit, Mrs. Fred Patrick of Biloxi, Mrs. R. E. Brown of Kingman, Mrs. Henry Van Nest of Tapega, and Miss Joy Gibson of Shreveport; seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were James E. Boswell, Jack, Ben F., and Fred D. Holt, Fred J. Patrick, and George A. Huff.
