A native of Many, Louisiana he had been a resident of Alvin, for the past 10 years. Mr. Hildebrand was a Veteran of World War Ii serving with the U. S. Army and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5237, Alvin. He is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Alma Hildebrand of Alvin, parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Hildebrand of Fisher, La., brother, Tynes (Buddy) Hildebrand of Natchitoches, La., Travis Hildebrand of Shreveport, La., Kenneth D. Hildebrand of Fisher, La., Jimmy Hildebrand serving with the U. S. Army in South Carolina. Sister, Mrs. Hoy Lee of Many, La., a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, at 2 p.m. from the Froberg Funeral home chapel. Rev. Clyde E. Thomas of the First Methodist church, Alvin, assisted by Rev. Ottis Hardin officiating. Military graveside services under the auspices of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post NO. 5237 with burial in the Confederate Cemetery, Alvin.
