Jessie Holden, Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Holden Sr., were held Feb. 15,
1989, at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the Shady
Grove Cemetery, Thomas Mortuary was in charge.

  Mr. Holden passed away, Feb. 9, 1989, at L.S.U. Medical Center,
at the age of 69.

  He leaves to cherish his memory, a wife, Gladys Holden; son,
Jesse Holden, Jr. of Many; two daughters, Shirley Holden of Many,
and Lottie Maxie of Florien; 13 grandchildren; and one great
grandchild; one sister, Myrtie Maxie of Many; one brother, Joe
Scobey of Houston, Tex.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
