Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Reverend Glen Flenniken, and Louis Skinner officiated the services. Mr. Hilton died at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Friday, April 12, at 9:50 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Wanda McCullough of the Plainview Community; one son, Samuel Lee Hilton of Natchitoches; one daughter, Elizabeth H. Maillet of Marksville; three sisters, Ruby Legg, and Ruth Spillers, both of Leesville, and Dovie Nolan of Anacoco; two brothers, P. W. Hilton of Leesville, and Jack Hilton of Kisatchie; and three grandsons, Kevin Maillet of Marksville, and Stephen, and Owen Shane Hilton, both of Natchitoches. Mr. Hilton was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He and Mrs. Hilton were married at Anacoco, on July 31, 1941.
