Alexander Hilton

  Alexander Nathaniel Hilton, 83, of Hornbeck, died Monday, Jan.
25, in the Baptist Hospital at Alexandria.

  Funeral services were Wednesday, in the Prewitt Chapel at
Hornbeck, with the Rev. Robert Graham, and the Rev. J. F.
Laurence, and the Rev. Pratt McCloyd officiating.

  Burial was in Prewitt Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Survivors are his widow; two sons, Alex Hilton of Hornbeck, and
Dewey Hilton of Houston, Tex.; five daughters, Mrs. Ellie Brown,
Mrs. Hattie Coburn, Mrs. Audrey Chance, and Mrs. Joyce Chance,
all of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Della Lawrence of Westlake; one
brother, Martin Hilton of Hornbeck; three sisters, Mrs. Julie
Brown, Mrs. Catherine Williams, and Mrs. Laura Withers, all of
Hornbeck; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
