Mrs. Hilton was born at Pinola, Miss., Simpson County, in 1887, and in later years, was married to Luther W. Hilton, who preceded her six years ago. Of this union, six children were born, of which five survive her. She gave her life to Christ at an early age, and has lived a Christian life ever since. She was a devoted wife and mother to all. She could say I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Surviving children are Mrs. Clara Matthews, Berry Hilton, Harold Hilton, Mrs. Julia Henderson, and Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs.
