Hilderbrand, 77, of Pollock, died at 6:10 a.m., Thursday, March 22, in Rapides General Hospital. He was a native of Many, and owned and operated Hilderbrand Boat Landing on Little River. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Hilderbrand of Pollock; two daughters, Mrs. Vonice Wainwright of Pollock, and Mrs. Wanda Alberti of Ball; four sisters, Mrs. Mittie Weldon, Mrs. Leah McGaha, and Mrs. Evelyn Dees, all of Many, and Mrs. Josephine Leach of Shreveport; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Services for Clarence A. Hilderbrand, were at 2 p.m., Friday, March 23, in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. Buford Skelton, and Wilbur Leach officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville. Pallbearers were Bubba Krischke, Mel Cook, Dwayne Coates, Richard Campbell, Kirby Campbell, and Joe Lachney.
