Mrs. Gay Holmes

  Mrs. Gay Holmes, 68, of Pleasant Hill, died on Monday, Sept. 16,
at 1:55 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Holmes is survived by her husband, W. B. Holmes of Pleasant
Hill; a son, W. B. Holmes Jr. of Premont, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs.
Dorothy Blankenship of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs Tila Lancaster;
5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church of
Pleasant Hill on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m., with the Rev.
Stephens, and the Rev. Clarence Eiland officiating. Burial was in
the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.
