The Sabine Index - August 30, 1973

  Mrs. Marie Hollingsworth

  Mrs. Marie Hollingsworth died May 5 at 7:30 in the
Willis-Knighton Hospital in Shreveport. She was the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Nichols, natives of Sabine Parish.

  Mrs. Hollingsworth was born in Fisher on June 3, 1909.

  She is survived by three children, Charles Graham of Dallas,
Billy Graham of Temple, Tex. and Mary Francis Calhoun of Anacoco;
12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother, Max Nichols
of Many; one half-sister, Louise LaFiette of Houston; and a
step-mother, Mrs. W. F. Ownes, with whom she lived.

  Funeral services were held May 7 at the Hilton Funeral Home in
Leesville. Brother W. E. Lord and Brother H.Wayne Reed
officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
