James (Jimmy) Shelton Helms (Photo)

  James (Jimmy) Shelton Helms, 58, died Aug. 9, 2002, at his
residence in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Aug. 11, at Rose-Neath
Funeral Home, with interment following at Warren Cemetery near
Fisher. The Rev. Truman Leach officiated, and the Rev. H. H.
Tibbitts assisted.

  Survivors include his widow, Loretta Mitchell Helms of Many;
three daughters, Rene' Craig, and Nikki Helms, both of Many, and
Christie Mitchell of Florien; three sisters, Barbara Williams,
and Brenda Bodiford, both of Miniola, Texas, and Jackie Clark of
Ft. Smith, Ark.; one brother, Benny Helms of Many; and six
grandchildren, Chelsie, Kirstin, Olivia, Maleah, Steven, and
Brittney.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Loretta Helms;
and one brother, Alvin Chadwick.

  Pallbearers were Roger Freeman, Mike Carhee, Scott Clanton,
Brian Mitchell, David Mitchell, and Chad Santos.
