Vernon E. Hillman

  Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5, at 3 p.m., for Mr.
Vernon E. Hillman of DeRidder. Mr. Hillman died May 3, 1984, at
St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. He was 54 years old.
Services were held at First Baptist Church in DeRidder, with
burial in Cooper Cemetery.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ernestine Hillman of DeRidder;
two sons, Charles Hoyte Hillman, and David V. Hillman, both of
Houston; his mother, Mrs. Evie Hillman of Many; four sisters,
Mrs. Rhoda White of Houston, Mrs. Norma Lee Scranton of Thedford,
Nebraska, Mrs. Loyal Kinny of Shreveport, Mrs. Judy Moline of
Austin; and a number of nieces and nephews; and one great niece.
