George C. Hilliard

  George Christopher Hilliard, 89, died Monday, Feb. 18, in the
Fraser Hospital in Many, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the
Calvary Temple Church, with the Rev. Alvin Hall officiating.
Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of the
Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. R. D. Earley of Stonewall;
seven sons, Larry Hilliard of Santa Maria, Calif., Odis Hilliard
of Pleasant Hill, Ellis Hilliard of Denver, Colo., Claude
Hilliard of Morenci, Ariz., Earl Hilliard of Great Bend, Kan.,
Calvin Hilliard of Marthaville, and Clyde Hilliard of North Las
Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Barnhill of Tullos, and
Mrs. Ollie Lewis of Natchitoches; 26 grandchildren, ang 10 great
grandchildren.
