Hanna Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Johnston Hanna, 77, of Jonesboro, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, 1983, at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, La., with the Rev. James Bridges officiating, and assisted by the Rev. Gene Compton, and the Rev. Danny Stevenson. Burial was in the Hodge Cemetery, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Hanna died Thursday, Sept. 8, at 4:15 p.m., at the Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro, after a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, Jack Hanna of Jonesboro, La., and Lavelle Hanna of Hodge, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn H. Hopkins of Zwolle, La., and Mrs. Sylvia "Snookie" Clements of Midland, Texas; one brother, Clarence Johnston of Vidalia, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Templeton of Jonesboro, and Kathleen Driskill of Hodge; 11 grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Nicky Johnston, James Johnston, Grady Dean, Jimmy Dean, Dalton Abercrombie, and Dean Robinson, all nephews of Mrs. Hanna.
