Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the Bossier City Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Ted Standley, pastor of Barksdale United Methodist Church, and the Rev. John Johns, pastor of Pineville United Methodist Church. Burial was in Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Humphrey was a native of Bryceland. He was a retired district business manager for the highway division of the state Department of Transportation and Development. He was a member of Barksdale United Methodist Church, Sunset Star Chapter ? CES, and Sunset Masonic Lodge No. 438 F&AM. Survivors include his widow; Mary Catherine Humphrey of Bossier City; one son, the Rev. Ray R. Miller if Many; six sisters, ? Emmons, Pearl Waites, ? Greenlee, Vera Holland, and Lucille Jones, all of Shreveport, and Tressie Walker of Bossier City; two step sisters, Mildred Roberts of Texarkana, Ark., and Grace Payne of Jackson, Miss.; one step brother, ? Ellard of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were A. A. Ackerson, Walter Fortups, ? L. McDonald, Tom Denny, Gary Wadsley, and Ed Allen.
