The Rev. Van Dickens, pastor of the church, and the Rev. John Johns, pastor of the Blanchard United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park West Cemetery. Mrs. Humphrey, born in Pulaski, Tenn., and a resident of Bossier City, for the past 33 years, died at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 1983, at Virginia Hall Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, the Rev. Ray Spiller of Gretna, La.; one sister, Mrs. Charline Patrick of Palestine, La.; and three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to The Memorial Fund, at Barksdale United Methodist Church.
