W. H. Haynes

  W. H. Haynes, 91, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, in Many, after an extended
illness.

  Services were held Thursday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m., in the Mt. Carmel
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mack Brister officiating. Burial was in
the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors included his son, William L. Haynes of Jefferson, Tex.;
one half sister, Mrs. Maggie McFerran of Nash, Tex.; two grandchildren,
and three great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Carnadus Davis, George Addison, Clois Slaughter,
Luther Byrd, Bill Alford, and A. G. Bridges.
