The Sabine Index - Emma Sellers Hancock

  9 Aug 1957 - Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Sellers Hancock,
age 75, who died Tuesday, Aug. 6 at her home in Many after an
extended illness was conducted at the Hixon Funeral home.

  Survivors are two sons, C. D. Hancock of Many and O. F. Hancock
of Mansfield, two daughters, Mrs. Ora Rabon of Leesville; Mrs.
Catherine Burnham of Glendale, Calif., six grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons, W. J. Rabon, J. D. Rabon,
Charles Hancock, William Lafitte, Edgar Talbert and Robert Welch.
Mrs. Hancock has been a resident of Vernon parish since 1911.
Seven years ago she moved to Many.
