Bessie Mae Nelms Honeycutt

  Mrs. Bessie Mae Nelms Honeycutt of Vowells Mill, La., died
Wednesday, March 30, 1983, at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital.
She was 78 years old.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Honeycutt were held Friday, April 1,
at 2 p.m., at the Bellwood Baptist Church, with burial following
at Bellwood Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Davis, and Rev. Cook
officiated. Arrangements were made through Blanchard Funeral
Home. Serving as pallbearers were Gregory Honeycutt, Charles
Honeycutt, Tony Honeycutt, Clifton Honeycutt, Reginald Wilson,
and two honorary pallbearers, Fenton Nichols, and Nolen Nelms.

  Surviving relatives are four sons, Wilburn Honeycutt, Sherman
Honeycutt, both of Vowells Mill, Douglas Honeycutt of
Natchitoches, and Donell Honeycutt of Shreveport; two sisters,
Zella Honeycutt of Alice, Texas, Mabry Denton of Houston, Texas;
one brother, J. B. Nelms of Doyline, La.; eight grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren.
