Murdock returned a verdict of accident Tuesday in the hanging death of 15-year-old Jimmy Hinson, who was found hanging from a cotton rope in the bathroom of his home about 10 a.m. Tuesday. He was the son of Aaron Hinson of Los Angeles and Mrs. Aaron Hinson of Many. Dr. Murdock said the hanging death was "accidental in play" and was not premeditated. The youth is survived by his parents, a brother, Joseph; and a sister, Judy, both of Many, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hamp Simpson of Iowa, La.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Hinson of El Dorado, Ark.; and his maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Hugh Simpson of Many. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Calvery Baptist church with the Rev. V. R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Many cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral home of Many.
