Mrs. Fred Handy

  Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 8, in the St.
John's Catholic Church in Shreveport for Mrs. Fred Handy, 76, who died Sunday,
Feb. 7, at Confederate Memorial Hospital in Shreveport, after a long illness.

  Mrs. Handy was a native of Jeanerett, in Iberia Parish, but has been a
resident of Shreveport for the past 55 years.

  The Rev. D. G. Schisler, S. J. officiating at the services, with burial in
the Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home
of Shreveport.

  Among her survivors is one sister, Mrs. Claude Wiley of Zwolle.
