All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Mrs. Donie Henderson Mrs. Donie Henderson, 75, of Coushatta, died Aug. 23, of an extended illness, and funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel, Sunday, Aug. 25, with the Rev. Herman Blackmon in charge of the service. Interment was in the Dry Prong Cemetery. Mrs. Henderson was survived by five sons, Ennis, and Johnny of San Antonio, Tex., and Dale of Dallas, and Brandy, and Milton of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. M. L. Underwood of Florien, Mrs. W. H. Skinner of Coushatta, and Mrs. R. A. Docken of Waco, Texas; one brother, Henry Smith of Rosepine; a half sister, Mrs. Florence Peppers of Jonesboro; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Mrs. Henderson died at 3:45 p.m., Aug. 23. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were David, Brandy, and Johnnie Henderson, Lyn Weldon, Phillip Weldon, and Virgil West.
