Hunter Funeral rites and Requiem Mass was said for F. A. Hunter, age 54, at 10:30 last Saturday, at St. John's Catholic Church. Mr. Hunter was stricken with a heart attack, and died at DeQueen, Ark., last Friday. He was a resident of Shreveport, and had been an employee of the Kansas City Southern Railway for 35 years. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, St. Theresa's Holy Name Society, the Order of Railway Conductors and Brakemen. He is survived by his widow, the former Alma Andries; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd J. Pearce; his mother, Mrs. Patti Hunter, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. William Tonialli, Harrison, Ark., Mrs. C. L. Miller, Lockwood, Mo.; and three brothers, M/Sgt. W. F. Hunter, serving in England, R. H. Hunter, Mooringsport, and M/Sgt. W. M. Hunter, Abilene, Tex. Pallbearers were W. W. Tonialli, V. L. Miller, A. E. Maines, Floyd J. Pearce, Harold W. Andries, and Hubert A. Andries. Honorary pallbearers were KCS employees. Burial was in St. John Cemetery.
