Mr. Jeffery Lynn Himel

  Mr. Jeffery Lynn Himel, 49, died Saturday, May 15, 1999, in
Mansfield, after a sudden illness.

  Mr. Himel was an applications engineer for J. W. Operating Co.

  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, at
Fellowship Baptist Church, with interment following at Oak Grove
Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Price will officiate, with the Rev.
Marshall Ingle assisting.

  Survivors include his widow of 26 years, Diane Himel of
Mitchell; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Himel of Thibodaux; two
daughters, Stacy, and Alison Himel of Mitchell, Mary Wichmann of
Ocean Springs, Miss., Annie Croce and husband John of Great
Falls, Va., Sue Pyle and husband Eddie of Baton Rouge, Becky
France and husband Joe of Hertford, N. C., Liz Himel of Bellevue,
Wash., and Kate Orellena and husband Xavier of Lakeland, Fla.;
and a host of in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons
International, or to the American Heart Association.

  Pallbearers were Jeff Webster, Bobby Webster, Eddie Pyle, Greg
Cowdin, Darren Craig, Mack Mayes, Steve Hubbard, and Dan Parker.
