R. Haymon of Leesville and a native of Vernon Parish, died in the Citizens Hospital, Barberton, Ohio, recently. A resident of Barberton, Ohio, for some 25 years, was employed by Seiberling Tire and Rubber Co., until his retirement some 5 years ago. He was a member of the Seiberling 25-year Club. He is survived by his wife Ada McKee Haymon, Barberton, Ohio; two sons; Gossett Haymon Jr., Barberton, Ohio; Walter Lee of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters; Mrs. Geraldine Haymon Crosby, Many; Mrs. Bobbie Jean Beers, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Bonnie Gwyn, Clinton, Ohio; two brothers, Herman Haymon, Leesville; Norman Haymon, Rosepine; six sisters, Mrs. Pearlie Legg, Hicks; Mrs. Marie McKee, DeRidder; Mrs. Hazel McKee, Rosepine; Mrs. Ethel Bloodsworth, Orange; Mrs. Velma Tanner, Houston; Mrs. Ezma Shankle, Beaumont; his father, Clemie R. Haymon of Leesville; 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Services were held at 12 noon, September 10, under the direction of Campfield Hickman Funeral Home of Barberton. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Akron, Ohio. The ministers officiating were Rev. T. J. Crosby assisted by Dr. Gaston Bloodsworth and Dr. Byron W. Arledge.
