Charles Edgar Hammons

  Funeral services for Mr. Charles Edgar Hammons, 82, were held at
10 a.m., Thursday, April 4, at Lewing Chapel. Interment followed
at Lewing Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home. Rev. Huff officiated over the services.

  Mr. Hammons died Tuesday, April 2, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Ocie Hammons; one son, Jerome
Hammons; two granddaughters, Sheila Hammons, and Sonia Smith; two
great grandchildren, Drew Smith, and Hannah Smith, all of Many;
and one nephew.
