Ocie Opheia Hammons

  Services for Mrs. Ocie Opheia Hammons were held at 2 p.m.,
Thursday, January 21, 1993, in Lewing Chapel. Officiating was the
Rev. Melvin Smith, and Rev. Wayne Crisby. Burial was held in
Lewing Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Hammons died Tuesday, January 19, 1993, at Sabine Medical
Center in Many.

  She is survived by one son, Jerome Hammons of Many, La.; two
sisters, Valley Tedder, and Effie Conour, both of Many, La.; two
grandchildren, Shelia Leach, and Sonia Smith, both of Many, La.;
two great grandchildren, Drew Smith, and Hannah Smith, both of
Many, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
