The Sabine Index - August 24, 1988

  Connie Gandy Hamrick

  Funeral services were held at Rose Neath Funeral Home in
Shreveport, July 11, for Mrs. Connie Gandy Hamrick who passed
away at P & S Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of
Sabine Parish, but a resident of Shreveport.

  She is survived by her husband, Andrew D. Hamrick of Shreveport;
one sister, Mrs. Geraldine LaBuver of New Iberia; and two
brothers, John Riley of Shreveport and Robert R. (Bob) of
Houston, Texas.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. M. N.
Gandy; sisters, Mrs. Betty Peterson, Mrs. Lola Duggan, Mrs. Joyce
Carter; brothers, S. V. Gandy, Clarence Gandy, Otis Gandy,
Charlie Gandy, Edward (Buddy) Gandy, and Ellerson (Boots) Gandy.
