Hattie Bridges Haire

  Mrs. Hattie Bridges Haire, 77, died Friday morning, Sept. 8, in
a Shreveport hospital, after a short illness.

  Services were held Sunday, at 2 p.m., in the Hickory Grove
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Sanders officiating. Burial
was in the Wallace Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath.

  Survivors include one son, Larry Haire of Mansfield; seven
daughters, Mrs. Agnes Lasky of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Dahlia
Graves, and Mrs. Tressie Ryals, both of Converse, Mrs. Alice
Laiti, and Mrs. Gracie Hobbs, both of Shreveport, Mrs. Joyce
Florentine of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Betty Emerson of Coushatta;
one brother, A. E. Bridges of Lexton, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs.
Victoria Burns of Pittsburgh, Texas, and Mrs. Eveline Bivens of
Jasper, Texas; 30 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
