Don Haire, 44, of Ajax, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Union Baptist Church in Belmont, where he was a member. The Rev. Jack Middleton, Baptist minister, assisted by Rev. Johnny Garrett, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was at Three Pines Cemetery in Ajax. He died Dec. 28, Monday, at the Doctors Hospital in Shreveport, after a long illness. Mr. Haire, born in Pelican, a former resident of Shreveport of 20 years, and a resident of Marthaville, La. 6 years, was retired from the Shreveport Fire Dept., and was a Mason. Mr. Haire is survived by his widow, Myra A. Haire; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Haire; and two sons, Danny Wayne Haire, and Michael Dewitt Haire, all of Ajax; four grandchildren; one brother, John Haire of Shreveport; two sisters, Lucille Thomas of Shreveport, and Catherine Rogers of Haynesville. Pallbearers were Danny Rambin, Kenny Thomas, Johnny Mayo, Bobby Litton, Lathan Early, Gary Rogers.
