Officiating was Brigadier Elmer Capp of the Salvation Army. Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Oil City. Mr. Harr was a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a resident of Shreveport. He was a mechanic for Delta Tire Service, and a member of the Salvation Army. Mr. Harr died Saturday, December 6, 1986, in Shreveport, following a motorcycle accident. He was preceded in death by one son, William Harold. Survivors were parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harr of Shreveport; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Spears of Hornbeck; two sons, Garen Michael Harr Jr. of Shreveport, and Jeremy Gibson of Oil City; two sisters, Judy Polk of Bossier City, and Jeannie Procella of Haughton; three brothers, Terry Harr, and Jeff Harr, both of Shreveport, and Thomas Harr of Vivian; seven nieces; and six nephews.
