Haire, 84, of Pelican, died Thursday, March 31, in Mansfield, following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, at 3 p.m., in Wallace Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tom B. Gillooly officiating. Burial was in the Wallace Cemetery, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta. He is survived by seven sons, T. L. Haire, and B. B. Haire of Pelican, H. H. Haire of Oklahoma City, Okla., L. R. Haire, and L. L. Haire of Texas City, Tex., Carl C. Haire of Patterson, J. J. Haire of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. P. G. Anderson of Shreveport, Mrs. Susie Crain of Palestine, Tex., Mrs. Paralee Tyler of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Elva Wilson of Mansfield, Mrs. Beulah Butler of Baton Rouge, Miss Edna Haire of Bossier City; four brothers, T. R. Haire of Pleasant Hill, Coleman Haire of Pelican, Everette Haire of Marthaville, Kermit Haire of Baker; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
