Ardis Harper

  Funeral services for Ardis C. Harper, 81, father of Judge Nolan
Harper of Shreveport, were at 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, in the
Southside Baptist Church of Minden.

  Officiating was Bro. Floyd Lisemby. Burial was in Minden
Cemetery, under the direction of Boone Funeral Home. Mr. Harper,
a Minden resident, died Wednesday.

  Mr. Harper was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, and was
a retired driller for Humble Oil Co.

  Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ardis Harper; four sons,
Charles Harper of Castor, Malcolm Harper of Zwolle, Louis Harper
of Valencia, Calif., and Dr. Lonnie Harper of Olympia, Wash.;
three daughters, Mrs. Loraine Womack of Haynesville, Mrs. Lucille
D'Anglo of New Orleans, and Mrs. Mary Daugherty of Bossier City;
41 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and four great-great
grandchildren.
