Zachary L. Harper

  Funeral services for Zachary Lee Harper, 79, of Shreveport, were
held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, in the Drewett Memorial
Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, with the Rev. Thomas Wilson
officiating.

  Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery near Marthaville.

  Mr. Harper died Sunday morning in Doctors Hospital in
Shreveport. He was a native of Pleasant Hill, and had resided in
Shreveport for 29 years.

  Survivors are his widow; two sons, Z. L. Harper Jr., and J. W.
Harper, both of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Ione Webb, and
Mrs. Martile LaCaze, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Jean Crenshaw
of Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Viola Wells of Pleasant Hill;
13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
