Charles Raymond Harper, Sr.

  Charles Raymond Harper, Sr., 76, of Sulphur, died Tuesday, Dec.
12, 2000, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Mr. Harper was born in Linden, Texas, on July 13, 1924, to
parents, Elton John Harper, and Pauline Harper.

  He was a veteran, and worked as a warehouse supervisor.

  Services were held Thursday, Dec. 14, at Warren Meadows Funeral
Home. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include one daughter, Paula Muckleroy and husband John
of Natchitoches; two sons, Jennings Harper and wife Sally of
Sulphur, and Charles Harper Jr. and wife Brenda of Natchitoches;
one brother, Jimmie Harper of Natchitoches; 13 grandchildren;
seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and
friends.

  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer
Association, Northwest Louisiana Chapter, 520 Olive Street, Suite
S2-0, Shreveport, La. 71104
