Harper Services for Hugh Lonnie Harper, were at 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 5, in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Revs. Barnette Ates, and Charles Hutzler officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville. Harper, 79, of Dry Prong, died at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 1987, in Rapides General Hospital. He was a member of Curtis T. Hines Lodge No. 317 F & AM of Tioga, and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 60, Tioga. Survivors include his wife, Annie Talbot Harper of Dry Prong; one son, Lonnie L. Harper of Tioga; one daughter, Annie Marie Fontenot of Zwolle; one brother, James Monroe Harper of Pineville; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Doug Jones, Mike Gracey, Matt Furby, Lonnie H. Harper, George L. Fisher, and Larry Talbot.
