Mrs. Stacie Mae Harper

  Mrs. Stacie Mae Harper, 64, died Nov. 9, in Many, after a short
illness.

  Surviving relatives include three sons, Dan Harper of New
Iberia, Walter Harper of Sherman, Tex., and Huey Harper of Many;
two brothers, Julius, and Jeff Mannies, both of Shreveport; a
sister, Mrs. Thelma Dawson of Lafayette; and nine grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Nov. 11, with the Rev. Brent Fleming,
and the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in Barber
Cemetery near Logansport, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Huey Dowden, Wingate
Dowden, Francis Oxley, Gilbert Bush, Homer Flenniken, and Charlie
Bridges.
