Mrs. Ida Harris

  Mrs. Ida Harris, 74, died Wednesday night, July 21, in a Converse
hospital, after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 23, in the
Fellowship Baptist Church at Converse. Burial was in the Oak Grove
Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home. the Rev.
Don Brown officiated.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Maudie Peo, and Miss Addie
Ruth Harris, both of Converse; four sons, Frank Harris of Converse,
Joe Walter Harris of Shreveport, and Louie Fred Harris, and James S.
Harris, both of Houston, Tex.; 18 grandchildren, and eight
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Riley Burk of Converse, and
Charlie Burk of DeQuincy; and two sisters, Mrs. Lela Bass, and Mrs.
Annie Stewart, both of Houston, Tex.
