Lola Harris

  Mrs. Lola Harris, 68, of Converse, died in the Pleasant Hill
Hospital, Sunday, May 22, at 4:35 a.m., after an extended
illness.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, May 22, at 5 p.m., at the
Converse First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard May
officiating. Interment was in the Converse Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives include one daughter, Mildred Hicks of
Converse; three brothers, Coda Walden, Devance Walden, and Doyle
Walden, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. F. I. Wright,
Zwolle, and Mrs. Lena Dekeyzer of Port Arthur, Texas; and two
grandchildren.
