Bobby Hershberger

  Funeral services for Bobby Hershberger, 55, of Many were held on
February 1, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Lowing Chapel Church with Rev. James
Harvey & LaWayne Horton officiating, Burial was in the Lewing Chapel
Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Bobby passed away on January 29, 2000 at Willis Knighton North in
Shreveport after a long and courageous battle with heart disease and
from complications after receiving a mechanical heart. He had been
on the heart transplant list since July 1998.

  He is preceded in death by his mother, Margie Lewing Cox and his
maternal grandparents, Con and Frankie Lewing.

  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janell of Many, three sons
Robert Hershberger and wife, Lucy of Zwolle, Tommy Hershberger and
wife, Mertice of Fisher, Clint Hershberger and wife, Tina of Pineland,
Texas, one brother Billy Cox and wife, Cindy of Florien; seven
grandchildren Aaron, Adam, Blayne, Brayden, Donna, Jordan and Tyler.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Hazel Harvey of Gatesville,
Texas along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

  Pallbearers were Mike Boydston, Shannon Byles, Stanley Harvey,
Jerry Jacobs, Ronnie Lewing, Keith Lightfoot, Mike Lyddy and Chris
Vines. Honorary pall bearers were grandsons.
