John Lundy Hershiser, Sr.

  Mr. John Lundy Hershiser, Sr., of Mansfield, died on Tuesday,
Oct. 7, at Highland Hospital in Shreveport, following an extended
illness.

  Mr. Hershiser is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Hershiser,
Mansfield; 2 sons, John L. Hershiser, Jr., Mansfield, William
Hershiser, Shreveport; 2 daughters, Joahwan Mora, Zwolle; Barbara
Gibbs, Longstreet; 1 sister, Iva Cooke, Waterloo, Iowa, and 9
grandchildren.

  Funeral services, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home, were held in the Warren Meadows Chapel, with the Rev. Paul
Ferrant officiating. Interment followed at the Lakeview Cemetery.
