John L. Harrison

  Services for Mr. John L. Harrison, 88, of Pelican, were held at
10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Drewett Memorial Chapel in
Mansfield. The Rev. J. R. Bolton officiated. Burial was in Oak
Grove Cemetery near Converse.

  He died at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Pleasant Hill
General Hospital. Mr. Harrison was a native of Robeline, and had
lived in Pelican most of his life.

  Survivors include one son, Leo Harrison of Pleasant Hill; four
daughters, Mrs. Lucille Parker, and Mrs. Hazel Brown, both of
Converse, Mrs. Clarine Burton of Pelican, and Mrs. Claudine
Wedgeworth of Shreveport; two half brothers; three half sisters;
15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
