Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, with interment following at Pelican Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Thibeaux, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, officiated. Christine was a native and life long resident of Pleasant Hill, the daughter of the late Jimmy "Rube" Jamerson, and the late Ethel Alford. She had six sisters and seven brothers, Pasty Macmillan of Leesville, Barbara Graves of Grand Cane, and Foster Wedgeworth of Shreveport. She was preceded in death by siblings, Hubby Jamerson, Orvel Jamerson, Irine Jamerson, Jerry "Dean" Jamerson, Jesmer Collum, Jimmy "O'Neal" Jamerson, Curtis Wedgeworth, George "Willard" Wedgeworth, Aggie "Corine" Hunt, and Delmer Jamerson. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Scarlet and husband Terry Cameson of Montgomery, Brenda and husband Thomas Richardson of Lafayette, and Janell and Arthur Greer of Pleasant; eight grandchildren, Tommy and Katy Dease, Beverly Stroud, Billy Brewster Jr., Terry and Gerry Cameron, Arthur and Donnie Greer; and six great grandchildren, Michael, Shawn, Jessica, Johnny, and Crissy Stroud, and Luke Austin. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, John "Leo" Harrison; her three sons, John Jr., a boy baby that was stillborn, and Jimmy Harrison; and her grandson Ronnie Greer. Pallbearers were Thomas Richardson, Terry Cameron, Tommy Dease, Perry Dease, Michael Stroud, and Billy Brewster Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Foster Wedgeworth, and Andrew Webster.
