Edward H. Harkins

  Mr. Edward H. Harkins, 82, died in Natchitoches, La., on April
29, 1989, at 8:48 a.m.

  Services were held at St. John's Catholic Church in Many, on May
1, at 10 a.m., with Father Ken Williams officiating. Burial was
at St. John's Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Catherine Harkins of Many; one
brother, Adolph Harkins of Natchitoches; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers included Joe LeBlanc, Herman DeLatin, Jerome
DeLatin, Terry DeLatin, John Solice, and Adolph Harkins.
